The Jakarta Multiple Entry Visa – How to get yours!

Every business person and entrepreneur who needs to complete their activities in Southeast Asia should understand how important it is to maintain a close relationship with their local partners. The demand for frequent business trips to Jakarta makes a Single Entry Visa no longer a viable option.

As of 23rd November 2022, the Government has announced through Immigration platforms that the Multiple Entry Visa is now available again after a 2-year absence due to Covid 19. The Multiple Entry Business Visa is the most convenient and cost-effective solution for high-frequency business professionals travelling to Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia.

Through this article, LetsMoveIndonesia will explain how to get a Multiple Entry Business Visa for Jakarta, the requirements, and how to obtain it.

Why should I get a Multiple Entry Business Visa?

When you require more than one trip to Jakarta for business purposes, arranging a Visa on Arrival or a Single Entry Visa for every single trip can cost you more in terms of time and expense. If you want a visa with long-term validity that does not require you to go back and forth to the immigration at every arrival, then it might be wise for you to opt for a Multiple Business Visa in Jakarta.

The Multiple Entry Business Visa grants validity for 12 months and you will be given a stay permit for 60 (sixty) days at your first entry to Indonesia. At the end of the 60 days, you will need to exit the country and obtain another 60 days when arriving back in Indonesia.

Who Is Eligible for The Multiple Entry Business Visa?

Since the purpose is for business, this type of visa must be sponsored by a company within Indonesia and shall not be sponsored by an individual.
